St. John’s is a mission congregation of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina and part of the worldwide Anglican Communion. As such, we are in continuity with the one, holy, catholic (universal) and Apostolic Church, which can trace her spiritual lineage (doctrine, discipline and worship) directly through the Holy Apostles to Jesus himself. We are further rooted in the mighty acts of God as revealed to us in the Old Covenant Community, the ancient Israelites.

Saint John’s is a small, yet active and growing Christian congregation. We live and worship in the “Anglican” tradition. Our primary goal is to grow in our relationship with God and with each other. We desire to be the community God has uniquely called us to be, and we desire to serve Him by serving the people in this part of Aiken County. Whether you are a Christian seeking a new church home, or you are someone wanting to find out what Christian spirituality and a relationship with God is all about, our doors are wide open to you. You will find a loving and caring community of people waiting to greet you. Our hope is that you will find that Saint John’s is the place for you.
